Opus Theatre is situated at the heart of Hastings town centre and possesses probably the best acoustics in the South East. We can seat up to 400 people and with restricted view up to 700. We work on a specific principle: the better, more relevant and beautifully done your production is, the more competitive our hire rates will be. All our rates depend on your activities, artistic standards and social ethos. We happily offer reduce our rates for unique or special artistic events, festivals, community engaged groups and genuine charities as long their work is of quality and has something meaningful to say. If you believe that your event can contribute to make the world a better place, Opus Theatre will help you.

The Opus is available for: Concerts, Opera Soirees, Theatre Plays, Dance Performances, Art Films, Acoustic Acts, Literaty and Poetry Events, Lectures, Workshops, Rehearsals, Filming and Recordings. Our rates depend on the type of activities planned and services required. We offer reduced rates for longer sessions, festivals, community groups and registered charities.

Directions: The OPUS Theatre is located on 24-25 Cambridge Road, in Hastings' town centre, East Sussex TN34 1HG - right opposite the ESK stores. The Opus Theatre is just a few minutes walk from Hastings bus and train stations. Disable access is available on the main entrance in Cambridge Road. Parking: .There is extensive on street parking nearby after 6pm and inexpensive parking on Priory Street Multi Story for £1, also after 6pm. Alternatively, there is additional parking at in Pay & Display Cornwallis Street Car Park, around the corner. We do not offer food at our theatre - only various type of alcoholic and no-alcoholic drinks. Thank you for your understanding.
